What we're up to
- The Irish Invasion!
Thursday 15th - Monday 19th May
Steve & Sue Johnson are in the process of organising an invasion of Southern Ireland to drink Guinness and make loud noises!(the Tiv's).
The tour will last 4 nights starting with an early start on Thursday 15th May and returning to the UK on Monday the 19th of May.
We currently have 4/5 cars booked for the tour so there are still a few places left…
If you are interested in joining what is sure will be a great few days with some good old Irish hospitality, then please Steve ‘the Guinness’ Johnson

- Tatton Park Classic and Performance Car Show
Sat 31st May to Sun 1st June
The first of the two Tatton car shows, this one includes the "Giant Cheshire Auto-jumble" - a chance to buy those tools and bits you didn't know you needed!!
Lets hope summer has arrived by then - unlike in the shot here!
- June Monthly Meeting
Wednesday 4th June
The best meeting of the year at Lancashire TVR Car Club as we usually have a turnout of around 30 TVRs.
Come along and find out all about Howie and Gary's plans for the next Tuscan Challenge race at Brands Hatch on the 15th...
The Lancs foodies will start their munching from around 7.00pm, sampling the delights of the Rigbye's fine fayre - so why not join them?
The meeting will be held, weather permitting, in the car park from 9.00pm sharp...

- July Monthly Meeting
Wednesday 2nd July
Come down to the Rigbye and meet RO John Kenyon and the 7.00pm pie-eating gang! Alternatively why not shuffle up for a quick pint sometime after 8.00pm just in time for a wander round the car park in the sun (we wish...) and hear JK's pearls of wisdom at 9.00pm.
Meeting is in the car park if it's fine, or upstairs in the pub if it's not!
We'll see you there then!
- Fleetwood Festival of Transport
Sunday 20th July 2008
A chance to join the Blackpool Region at this historic transport event. Details to follow (or contact the Blackpol Region).
- Harewood Hillclimb School
Thursday 24th July 2008
A chance to take the TVR up the famous Harewood Hillclimb, with proper instruction to avoid the embarrassment of finding out the hard way (and worse, being photographed doing so)!
This is when we find out who can drive fast, not just talk fast!!
- Tatton 2 Car Show
Sat 16th and Sun 17th August 2008
More correctly The 21st Tatton Park Vintage, Classic & Sports Car Show , and another chance to show off your TVR polishing skills.
There is usually a good turn out from the Lancs Region, so it is a good social event too (especially for those who are not driving...).

- Harewood Summer Hillclimb/TVRCC Speed Championship
